The Bayview Beacon Center (including the ExCel Out of School Time Program) is a program of the Bayview YMCA, and is offered at Phillip & Sala Burton High School. It is open to ALL high school-age youth and adults.
The Beacon provides free programs and services such as:
- Homework help
- Enrichment activities
- Sports
- Wellness workshops/case management
- Employment trainings
Services and activities take place in a safe and supportive environment supervised by teachers and staff. The Beacon’s mission is to offer tools that will empower participants to live healthy, happy and productive lives.
